Show Rules

  1. Exhibitors agree to not remove knives from the table or reserve knives in any way before 11h00 on Friday 6 April 2012. This is in order to give everyone a fair chance to see all the work and for all to have an equal chance at acquiring the prime pieces.

  2. Statistic forms will be handed out for completion and must please be handed back to Beatrice Bosch at the close of the show. Please note that this is specific condition of the agreement between exhibitor and organiser. These statistics will be disseminated to all exhibitors after the conclusion of the show and will help you to better understand the market and to prepare for next year. It is in your interest to keep a copy of your own stats for your records.

  3. No table bookings will be accepted without fully completing the registration form. The form will not be accepted without your cheque or cash/electronic deposit voucher (or copy) attached.

  4. Your table will only be confirmed after we receive your registration form and proof of payment.

  5. Exhibitors are to man their tables for the full duration of show whether you have knives for sale or not. Any exhibitor who leaves before the show closes at 6pm on Friday 6 April and 4pm Saturday 7 April, forfeits future reservations and maybe denied tables at future DEKS.

  6. Ensure that you bring all your own requirements - leads, globes, props, koki pens, tape etc. The organisers do not provide these materials.

  7. No-one, except the organiser or his delegated scribe, may contact Magnum Magazine, or any other publication, about editorial or photographs published in said magazines.

  8. No subletting or sharing of tables without prior approval of the show organizer is permitted.

  9. Do not move tables. No items that protrude or extend into the aisle or breaks. No tape, staples or nails to be used on walls or curtains.

  10. Any question or dispute arising during the show shall be resolved by the show organiser whose decision shall be final.

  11. This is a knife show. All tables must be predominantly knives or knife related items (e.g. swords, axes, edged tools, edged weapons, knife books, knife making supplies). If in doubt, check with the show organiser ahead of time. We reserve the right to bar any item from display or sale.

  12. Knives or related items may only be sold within the conference venue. No tables outside the said venue will be allowed.

Disclaimer: The organiser of the show, hotel owners and employees of the hotel do not accept liability or responsibility for injury or damage or loss of any nature whatsoever, whether arising from negligence or any other cause howsoever, which is suffered by any person or entity or caused to property or vehicles entering the premises or car park. All vehicles are driven and parked entirely at the risk of the driver or owner and all persons entering the premises do so at their own risk. All knives are displayed and sold entirely at the risk of the maker. Right of admission reserved.
